Hello Lovelies!
I know that it is a bit late for January besties but I wanted to put this up anyway.
I didn't wear a lot of makeup this month because I was rather busy & when I did wear it I didn't wear much.
Face Products:
-Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Primer: This stuff makes my face feel so smooth & soft & it does help with keeping my makeup on. I also like this because of it's small size & I was traveling during January.
-ELF Studio HD Concealer in Brightening: I love this yellowed tone concealer for under my eyes. I didn't get a lot of sleep this month so this has been a life saver.
-Revlon ColorStay Concealer in Fair: I used this in place of foundation most days because it's just quicker & easier. I do find that I need to touch this up during the day but I honestly don't mind.
-Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in Fair: I like this powder. It's soft & smooth & gives a little bit of extra coverage but now much.
-ELF Studio Line Kabuki Face Brush: I love this brush. It's super soft & covers a lot of area at once. It really helps to buff the powder into my face.
ELF Studio Daily Moisture Stick: My face has had a few dry spots lately because of the unusually cold weather & this has really helped with touch ups throughout the day when my makeup begins to settle into the dry patches.
Eye Products:
- Essence of Beauty Crease Brush: This brush can be found at CVS at part of a duo. This is the smaller one of the two. Both of them are awesome but I have been using the smaller of the two a lot lately. It's perfect for putting shadows in the inner corner & tear duct of the eye which is a look I really like.
-Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette: I love this palette because it really does have just the basics. I like to use this by itself & with other shadows. It's perfect for travel too because of it's compact size. I also appreciate that there isn't any excess packaging.
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Pearl: This is probably my favorite lipstick of all time. It's pretty much my go to.It's a darker pink but looks pretty natural at the same time. It is a Pearl finish but I don't notice any pearl like finish to it. It have a somewhat shinny finish though but not overly so.
-Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade: This was unfortunately a limited edition shade from Summer 2013. It's a beautiful light pink shade that is really easy to wear & goes with any look. It's one of those shades that you don't really need a mirror to put on.
-Milani Power Lip in Raspberry Tart: This stuff is awesome! The color is a wonderful dark purple/berry & it stays on forever. The glossiness of it only last about maybe 2 hours but after that has worn off you still are left with that great color. It's a great statement lip. It has a great brush applicator which makes it easy to apply & it doesn't bleed outside of the lines.
Hair & Body:
-Bath & Body Works Travel Sized Body Spray in Beautiful Day: This is a great light scent. It isn't very "Wintery" but I'm so ready for Spring. The main scent note that I get for this is the Green Apple.
-Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relief Body Cream in Eucalyptus Tea: I love putting this on after my shower at night. It really is a calming scent. My little sister gave me this for Christmas & I have been using it almost every night since then. I'm in love with it.
-Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam Mousse: I recently got a perm & this stuff really work well with curling hair. It gives body, doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy, & a little bit goes a long way. The only down side is it was a bit pricey.
Random:
-A Dance With Dragons By, George R.R. Martin: I got this book at the end of January but it's still a favorite. I love all of these books. If you haven't read them I totally recommend them even if you aren't into fantasy stuff.
That's all for today.
Until next time...
Stay True & Stay You
