My Top 15 Lippies For Spring!

 Hello Lovelies!
Today I wanted to bring you part 2 of my previous post about my top 15 face & eye products for Spring. You can see that post here. Today's post is about my top 15 lippies (as you can tell from the title). So let's get into it.

1) Burt's Bee Lip Shimmer in Strawberry

As you can tell from the title of this lip balm it does have shimmer but in this particular shade I honestly don't notice it that much. It has a nice minty scent to it & a slight minty tingle on the lips but nowhere near what regular Burt's Bees is like. It's a really nice light pink shade that I think would look nice on anyone.

2) Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch

I love this lip balm. It feels light on the lips & gives a good amount of moisture & shine. It is a nice bright pink without being super in your face. Plus, it smells like fruit punch which I love. It reminds me of being & kid & drinking Kool-Aid in the summer time while playing outside with my friends.

3) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cloud

This is lipstick has what Revlon calls a "shine" finish. It is a light pink that can be somewhat sheer on the lips but you can also build it up. I think this would look particularly nice on fair skin. On darker skin it might look a bit ashy. There is no smell to these lipsticks.

4) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Stormy Pink

This is a bright blue based pink that is truly matte. So if your lips are the least bit dry this lipstick will show it. My favorite way to wear this is by dabbing this on to give more of a stained look.  This color would flatter any skin tone & like the one above this has no smell.

5) Maybelline Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach

This is a light somewhat pink peach color. It can be worn sheer or you can build it up a bit more. This is the perfect Spring color to me. I love it. To my nose this doesn't really have much of a smell. There is maybe a VERY slight sweet smell but it isn't really noticeable unless you put it right up to your nose.

6) Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Honeyed

This is a light nude pink shade with maybe just a slight touch of peach to it. It also has a bit of shine. It is a nice nude shade without being so nude that it makes you look like a ghost. I like that this could be flatter on just about every skin tone.

7) Covergirl Lip Perfection in Delicious

This is an awesome purple shade without being too in your face. It is one of my favorite lipsticks over all not just for Spring. It does have some pink in it so if you are afraid of wearing purple lipstick this would be a good one to start with.

8) Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Nude Lust

This is the perfect nude shade to me. It is nude with just the slightest hint of a peach tone to it so it isn't too brown (which I don't like). I love this lipstick. Before this lipstick I wasn't a fan of nudes in general but this really turned me around.

9) Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Nova

This is a super opaque bright pink color. It is super long lasting. It's kind of like a lip paint similar to the OCC Lip Tars. Even after the shine has gone away this leave behind a stain so they are great for a night out or if you are just someone who doesn't like to touch up their lip color.

10) Jordana Twist & Shine in Sweet Pink

This is a nice neutral pink shade that would look nice on anyone. It does have a staining effect so it last a long time on the lips. Plus, it has a nice slightly sweet scent to it.

11) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Sweetheart

This is a somewhat sheer bright pink color. It can be a bit drying on the lips after a while though. It lasts forever & can wear off in patches when it does begin to wear off so just beware.

12) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling

This is my favorite shade from this line. It is a true lilac. This isn't as staining as the shade above but it does last a long time on the lips.

13) NYX Butter Lipgloss in Eclair

This is a light milky pink shade that look great with any look. It feels really nice on the lips, has good pigmentation, & nice staying time for a gloss. Plus, these things smell HEAVENLY. I want to eat it.

14) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Super Natural

The shade name for this is spot on. It is a super natural looking shade that would be great for any skin tone. These glosses feel really nice on the lips but I wouldn't say that they are moisturizing.

15) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Pop

This shade isn't as pigmented as the one above. This one more so gives a nice wash of color to the lips so it is good if you want to try out a bright pink lip but don't want to have it be too in your face.

Well, that's all for now. I hope that this was helpful.

My Top 15 Face & Eye Products For Spring!

Hello lovelies!
Spring is here & I couldn't be more excited. I'm so over the cold weather. Plus, I love Spring time colors. Today's post will be about face & eye products only because if I included lip products too this would be the longest post ever. Tomorrow I will have a separate post about my favorite Spring lip products. So, let's get started.

1) L'OREAL Revitalift Miracle Blur
This products is great because it really does blur lines & pores (for me at least). Plus, it has an SPF of 30 which is nice for if you're going to be outside.

2) mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes

I really love this little palette. You can use it all over the face. It makes a great highlighter. They also make a nice base for eyeshadows. You can even use them alone on the lids. If you have oily lids they might crease though. It is a bit pricey ($16.00) but I have had mine for almost 2 years now & it still hasn't dried out.

3) NYX Love in Paris Palette in Let Them Eat Cake

This is such a cute little palette. I love it. The colors are perfect for Spring. You could get a nice light natural look all the way to something a bit more smokey with the darker colors. The coral color in the middle is probably my favorite. So pretty.

4) Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
This is one of my favorite foundations. It's great for Spring because it is light weight & has a natural finish on the skin. It also has an SPF of 20 which is always nice.

5) Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded

I don't think that it's any secret that I love the color tattoos. This one to me is a perfect lid color for Spring. It's a light champagne shade which is of course nice for any time of year but especially for Spring.

6) L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Always Pearly Pink

This is one of their new shades & it is quickly becoming one of my favorite shadows. It's really pretty all over the lid & in the inner corner. It also look really nice over the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded above.

7) Wet N Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow

I love highlighters. They are one of my favorite makeup items. They are especially nice for a Spring look. This one is really pretty & affordable. If you apply it with a stipple or fan brush it gives a nice light glow & can also be built up for a stronger highlight for a night out.

8) Jordana 12 HR Made To Last Eyeshadow Pencil in Continuous Almond
Matte nude eyes seem to be in for Spring this year & this is a great option for that type of look. It can be worn alone without creasing or under a powder eyeshadow.

9) Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks in Lime

This is a great light green shadow. It's very Spring time appropriate to me. This is a nice option for someone who wants to get into wearing more colorful shadows because it is a light green & not to out there. I did review these a little while back that you can check out here

10) Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Collection in Petal Pusher

Pinks & purples are also nice for Spring. This palette is a perfect combination of the two. These shadows are super pigmented, easy to apply, & blend. My two favorites from this palette are the top right & second one down on the left.

11) Benefit Boxed Blush in Dandelion (Sample Size)

This is a nice subtle blush for fair to light medium skintones. It is very natural looking. This also makes a great natural looking eyeshadow. Plus, it smells nice.

12) ELF Studio Blush in Candid Coral (Depotted)
Corals are very in for Spring every year & this blush is a nice inexpensive option. It has a subtle glow to it & looks good on every skin tone.

13) Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Natural (Depotted)
This is one of my favorite blushes. It is a very natural looking pink color. It has a bit of shimmer but nothing too crazy. This one smells nice as well.

14) Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liner in Emerald Glisten
The color name on this is perfect. It is an emerald liner with emerald shimmer in it. This would be great to used with a nice nude eyeshadow then wing this out. It has a nice wear time a a nice easy to use felt tip applicator.

15) Jordana Easyliner Retractable Liner in Mint
To me this is more of a aqua than a mint color. Either way it is really pretty & has nice wear time. My favorite way to wear this is smudged out on the upper lash line. I have somewhat watery eyes so it doesn't last long on my waterline but you might have better luck.

That's for today. I hope that this was helpful. What are some of your favorites for Spring?

Until next time...
