Walgreens & Wal-Mart Haul.

Hey loves,

Woah. Where have I been? I don't know either. I'm back now though.
So, let's see what I got.

First up, what I got from Walgreens.

Rimmel's Provocalips in the shades 120 Pucker Up (top) & 730 Make Your Move (bottom)

Pucker Up (left) looks nothing like I thought it would from the outer packaging. As you can see in the swatch it has SO MUCH GLITTER. Holy crap. It's multi colored glitter too. Green, gold, pink. It looks so frosty on the lips. I'm not a fan. I'm defiantly going to return it. The other one however, Make Your Move (right), is so pretty. I love it. It's kind of in the rosey brown family that is really popular now. I'm excited to wear this one.

Side Note: When I went to wash these off I ended up having to use my eye makeup remover that has oil in it because they would NOT budge.

L'OREAL's True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in the shade C2 Natural Ivory

I have never used this foundation before. I know, crazy. It's been around forever. Nicole Guerriero on YouTube loves it though so I decided to give it a try since it always look amazing on her.

L'OREAL Brow Stylist Plumper in Medium to Dark

I did try this out just now & my first impression is that I really like this. It has little fibers in it that I really do think made my brows look a bit bigger. I will have to test this out more though to give my final thoughts on it but so far, so good.

Now what I picked up from Wal-Mart.

Revlon's Nail Polishes in 785 Matte Pearl Glaze Top Coat, 750 Foxy, 933 Chameleon.

Revlon is probably my favorite nail polish at the drugstore. It's been forever since I got any new ones from them though. I'm especially excited about that top coat. I think that it will give a cool effect on the nail.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Twinkling Taupe from the Crystal Lips line (left) & Peach Kiss from the Original Line (right)

I have a couple Baby Lips & I love them so much. I'm not as into the Crystal Lips one because of the glitter but I loved the shade so much I wanted to try to make it work. They look very simliar in the swatches but on my lips the Peach Kiss really didn't show up as much as the Twinkling Taupe does.

Hard Candy Sheer Glow in Blushing Babe

This is one of those highlighters that reminds me of a sea shell. I am in love with it so far. I'm also excited to mix it with a bit of lotion & use it on my legs this Spring.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara in Very Black Waterproof

This is my favorite mascara for the lower lashes. This is probably my 3rd tube.

Well, that's all for now.
I hope that you have all been well. Sorry that I have been M.I.A.recently.

Until next time....

Trash Talk (Empties #3)

Hello lovelies!
Today I have another Trash Talk for you guys.

Left to Right:
-CVS Eyebrow Shaping Kit: I've gone through about 3 of these & I really love this kit. It makes waxing your brows so easy. I recently bought another brand & it made me realize how much I really do prefer this one. I will continue to buy this one until they don't sell it anymore, which I hope never happens.
-Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub: I've been using this since middle school, so about 10 years. I love this until they redid the whole line. It just isn't the same anymore. I know that my skin has changed now that I've gotten older too but this just isn't so good anymore. I won't be paying this anymore.
-Burt's Bees Sensitive Moisturizing Cream: This is a great lotion. I'm using something else now that it's summer & I live in the south so this is a little too heavy but I would repay this again & I do recommend it if you're look for just a simple face lotion.
-Yes to Grapefruit dark circle correcting eye cream: This was good at moisturizing my under eyes but it didn't do anything for my dark circles. So if you just want something moisturizing then this is good but it doesn't really do anything fancy.
-Hope in a Jar Night: I got this as a sample from Sephora. This made me break out like crazy! It's super thick which I didn't really like either. So needless to say I will not be purchasing this in full size.

-Freeman's Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal: This mask burned so badly! I do have sensitive skin though so if you don't then this might work for you but I just can't personally recommend this one.
-Freeman's Facial Exfoliating Scrub Pink Grapefruit: I love this stuff so much! It smells amazing. It kind of reminds me of Fruity Pebbles which is one of my favorite cereals. I felt like it really exfoliated my skin without being too rough on it. I will defiantly repurchased this hopefully they have it in full size.
-Freeman's Facial Hydrating Paper Mask Blue Agave: I wasn't really a fan of this mask either. This was my first sheet mask so maybe that's why  I didn't really like. I felt like the holes for the eyes weren't quite big enough. Plus, this mask is meant to be hydrating but after removing it after about 5 minutes or so my skin actually felt somewhat tight. I'm not sure if I will buy this one again. I might give it another chance but I am kind of on the fence about it.

-Venus Sensitive: I really liked these razors. I'm usually not too picky about razors though. As long as they are sensitive I'm happy. I would repurchase these though.
-Noxzema Bikini Trim: These little things are amazing. They make shaving around your bikini area super easy. I've gone through about 2 or 3 packs of these & I will defiantly continue to buy these.

-Organix Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil 3 Minute Miraculous Recovery: This is the worst deep conditioner that I have ever used. It really isn't even a good normal conditioner. The only good thing that I can say about this is that I do enjoy the smell but I will defiantly not buy this ever again.
-Avon Naturals Vanilla Ice Cream Scrub: I bought this from the outlet section on the Avon website some time ago. I really enjoyed using this. It actually smelled exactly like vanilla ice cream! I also have a chocolate & strawberry one that I have yet to use up. I don't think that they sell these anymore but if they do I really defiantly buy these again.
-Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion: This was the first time that I have used this scent. I did enjoy the scent & would defiantly buy this again. It is a little more of a fall scent to me though.
-Secret Clinical Strength Fresh Water Orchid Scent: This is a great deodorant. It keeps me dry & it smells so good. I want a body spray, body wash, lotion, everything in this scent. I will defiantly continue to buy this.

-Carmex Healing Lip Balm: I've been using this stuff since I was a kid. My mom uses it to so it was always in the house. I used this every night before bed & it keeps my lips nice & soft & healthy. I don't know what I would do without this stuff. I love it so much. I highly recommend it & will continue to buy this forever.
-Katy Perry Killer Queen Sample: This perfume smells AMAZING. It's one of my new favorites. I really want the full size of this.
-Bath & Body Works PocketBac in I love cake: This stuff really smells like vanilla frosting! I really enjoyed it & would buy it again.
-Bath & Body Works PocketBac in I love cookie dough: This is one of the best smelling pocketbacs that I've had. I really loved it & would buy this scent again if they still have it.
-Avon Mega Effects Mascara: This mascara was just okay for me. The first few times that I used it my lashes looked great but I felt like it dried out kind of fast & the brush defiantly took some getting used to. Considering it is a bit pricey, $10.00, I don't think that I will be buying this agian.
-ELF Lengthening & Defining Mascara: This isn't a good mascara. If you want something that just darkens your lashes then this might be good for you but it really did next to nothing for my lashes. I really don't think that I have ever heard anyone say that they like this mascara. It's just blah.
-ELF Lash & Brow Mascara: This is another product that is just okay for me. I feel like the thing that cleans off the brush doesn't clean the brush off enough so it can really look like your eyebrows look gelled down.

-Maybelline Great Lash in Vision in Violet, Green with Envy, & Wink of Pink: These were fun while they lasted but if they came out with them again I wouldn't repurchase these. There were times when they really burned my eyes but it wasn't every time I used them so I'm not sure why that is.

That's all for now! I hope you enjoyed.
What are some products that you used up recently?

Maybelline Bleached Neons Collection (Swatches)

Hello Lovelies!
I picked up some stuff from Maybelline's new collection for summer called "Bleached Neons" & wanted to share with you along with some swatches.

Color Elixirs from Left to Right: Orange Aglow, Radiant Raspberry, Luxe in Lilac

Orange Aglow:

Radiant Raspberry:

Luxe in Lilac:

Color Whispers from Left to Right: Pop of Poppy, Peach Punch
Color Whispers from Left to Right: Pop of Poppy, Peach Punch

Pop of Poppy:

Peach Punch:

Color Tattoos from Left to Right: Sunwashed Sky, Shimmering Sea

Sunwashed Sky:

Shimmering Sea:

Overall thoughts on the collection: I love all the lip products. My only complaint with those is the scent of the Color Elixirs but I knew that going in. They have a semi-strong floral scent but the awesome colors & pigmentation are awesome enough that I can look past the smell. As for the Color Tattoos I'm not a huge fan of blue eye shadows overall but there was something about these that made me want to give them a go anyway & I'm glad that I did. They are SO pretty in person. Especially the Shimmering Sea one. I love it.

Have you guys picked up anything from this collection?
Which is your favorite?

Until next time...

Face Of The Day + Mini Review: Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have a Face Of The Day & review of Olay's Fresh Effects BB Cream. I got mine at Big Lots for only $5.00 but they usually retail somewhere between $10.00 & $15.00. I found mine there a couple weeks ago but I have been back since & they still have them. I posted a photo on my Instagram (@madeupandtrue) the day that I bought it. So let's get into the FOTD first.

Face:
-L'OREAL Revitalift Miracle Blur: Used as primer mainly for the sunscreen
-Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream in Fair to Light: Used all over the face
-Revlon ColorStay Concealer in Fair: Used to cover up some redness on the chin & cheeks
-Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch in Radiant & L'OREAL Magic Lumi in Fair: Mixed together & used under the eyes & on lids
-Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder in Fair: Used to set everything

Cheeks:
-Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sun Light & MAC Blush in Cream Soda (Limited Edition): Mixed together on the cheeks

Eyes:
-Maybelline Color Tattoo in Nude Compliment (Limited Edition): Used all over the lid
-Covergirl Single Eyeshadow in French Vanilla: Used on inner corners & under the brows
-Revlon PhotoReady Kajal in Purple Reign: Purple end on the outer third of the upper lash line & cream side on the bottom waterline
-Revlon ColorStay Brow Enhancer in Blonde: Tinted wax side used to fill in brows
-Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof: Used on upper lashes

Lips:
-N.Y.C. Applelicious Glossy Balm

The overall look:

Now, let's talk about the BB Cream itself.

Pros:
- You get a good amount, 2.5 fl oz
- Smells good, it's very fresh & light. I get a defiant green apple scent
- Moisturizing
- A little goes a long way
- Has SPF 15
- Good price if found at Big Lots

Cons:
- Could come off greasy looking if your skin is oily at all
- Has little to almost no coverage
- Over priced if not found at Big Lots
- Small color range, only 2 that I know of
-Coverage can't really be built up

Final thoughts:
This makes a nice moisturizer but I wouldn't want to count on this for coverage unless your skin is basically perfect already. It defiantly needs to be set with a powder but that still doesn't guarantee that it will last all day. I will continue to use this until it's gone but I wouldn't repurchase it even for only $5.00 but I am glad that I was able to satisfy my curiosity.

Have you tried this BB Cream yet? Do you want to?

Until next time...
