March Besties!

Hello lovelies!
Today I have to share with you everything that I was loving during the month of March.

-Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup in Ivory-
I love this foundation because it looks so natural. I would say that this has a light to medium coverage. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a pump.

-ELF Studio Blush in Candid Coral (Depotted)-
These blushes have a cult following & it's no wonder why. It's smooth & silky. It's easy to apply because it has just the right amount of pigmentation; not too much & not too little. Plus, this color is perfect for Spring. It also has a nice amount of sheen to it.

-MAC Pearlmatte Face Powder in In For A Treat (Limited Edition)-
This is one of my favorites highlighters of all time. I wish it wasn't limited edition. It's cute in the pan & looks wonderful & natural on the face.

-Maybelline Colortattoo in Beige-ing Beauty (Limited Edition)-
This was part of the Dare To Go Nude collection that Maybelline put out. The whole collection is great but this is one of my favorite pieces from it. It has a golen-ish beige base to it & has little golden glitters in it.

-Covergirl Single Eyeshadow in French Vanilla-
This looks great over the Beige-ing Beauty colortattoo & most days the only shadow I wore were those two together. I put more on the lid & then a light bit under the brow for a highlight. It's great.
-NYX Love in Florence Palette in Gelato For Two-
I love this little palette. My favorite are the peachy somewhat amber shade on the top left & the dusty lilac under that one. The lilac looks nice blended in the crease either with the peachy amber color in the lid or just the colortattoo.

-Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Honeyed-
This is a great nude pink lipstick. It looks great with any look & is one of those lipsticks that you don't really need a mirror to apply.

-NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair-
I'm not a huge gloss person but I love this one. The smell is amazing. I want to eat it. Is that weird? I don't know. It looks nice with the Covergirl lipstick too.

-Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume (Sample Size)-
I got this from a recent Sephora purchase & I am so in love with it. This might be my new favorite perfume of all time. I really want to get the full size as soon as I can. I'm one of those people who usually doesn't buy perfume for myself though.

-Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves-
If you have curly hair you should try this stuff. It's really nice. It smells like Welch's grade soda! Which is one of my favorite sodas from my childhood.

Well, that's all for now! I hope that you enjoyed.

Until next time...

My Top 15 Lippies For Spring!

 Hello Lovelies!
Today I wanted to bring you part 2 of my previous post about my top 15 face & eye products for Spring. You can see that post here. Today's post is about my top 15 lippies (as you can tell from the title). So let's get into it.

1) Burt's Bee Lip Shimmer in Strawberry

As you can tell from the title of this lip balm it does have shimmer but in this particular shade I honestly don't notice it that much. It has a nice minty scent to it & a slight minty tingle on the lips but nowhere near what regular Burt's Bees is like. It's a really nice light pink shade that I think would look nice on anyone.

2) Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch

I love this lip balm. It feels light on the lips & gives a good amount of moisture & shine. It is a nice bright pink without being super in your face. Plus, it smells like fruit punch which I love. It reminds me of being & kid & drinking Kool-Aid in the summer time while playing outside with my friends.

3) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cloud

This is lipstick has what Revlon calls a "shine" finish. It is a light pink that can be somewhat sheer on the lips but you can also build it up. I think this would look particularly nice on fair skin. On darker skin it might look a bit ashy. There is no smell to these lipsticks.

4) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Stormy Pink

This is a bright blue based pink that is truly matte. So if your lips are the least bit dry this lipstick will show it. My favorite way to wear this is by dabbing this on to give more of a stained look.  This color would flatter any skin tone & like the one above this has no smell.

5) Maybelline Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach

This is a light somewhat pink peach color. It can be worn sheer or you can build it up a bit more. This is the perfect Spring color to me. I love it. To my nose this doesn't really have much of a smell. There is maybe a VERY slight sweet smell but it isn't really noticeable unless you put it right up to your nose.

6) Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Honeyed

This is a light nude pink shade with maybe just a slight touch of peach to it. It also has a bit of shine. It is a nice nude shade without being so nude that it makes you look like a ghost. I like that this could be flatter on just about every skin tone.

7) Covergirl Lip Perfection in Delicious

This is an awesome purple shade without being too in your face. It is one of my favorite lipsticks over all not just for Spring. It does have some pink in it so if you are afraid of wearing purple lipstick this would be a good one to start with.

8) Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Nude Lust

This is the perfect nude shade to me. It is nude with just the slightest hint of a peach tone to it so it isn't too brown (which I don't like). I love this lipstick. Before this lipstick I wasn't a fan of nudes in general but this really turned me around.

9) Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Nova

This is a super opaque bright pink color. It is super long lasting. It's kind of like a lip paint similar to the OCC Lip Tars. Even after the shine has gone away this leave behind a stain so they are great for a night out or if you are just someone who doesn't like to touch up their lip color.

10) Jordana Twist & Shine in Sweet Pink

This is a nice neutral pink shade that would look nice on anyone. It does have a staining effect so it last a long time on the lips. Plus, it has a nice slightly sweet scent to it.

11) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Sweetheart

This is a somewhat sheer bright pink color. It can be a bit drying on the lips after a while though. It lasts forever & can wear off in patches when it does begin to wear off so just beware.

12) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling

This is my favorite shade from this line. It is a true lilac. This isn't as staining as the shade above but it does last a long time on the lips.

13) NYX Butter Lipgloss in Eclair

This is a light milky pink shade that look great with any look. It feels really nice on the lips, has good pigmentation, & nice staying time for a gloss. Plus, these things smell HEAVENLY. I want to eat it.

14) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Super Natural

The shade name for this is spot on. It is a super natural looking shade that would be great for any skin tone. These glosses feel really nice on the lips but I wouldn't say that they are moisturizing.

15) Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Pop

This shade isn't as pigmented as the one above. This one more so gives a nice wash of color to the lips so it is good if you want to try out a bright pink lip but don't want to have it be too in your face.

Well, that's all for now. I hope that this was helpful.
What are some of your favorite lip products for Spring?

My Top 10 Single Eyeshadows

Hello to all my lovely readers,
Today I would like to share with you my top 10 single eyeshadows.
So, let's get right into it.

1: Hard Candy Single & Loving it in Unattached
This is a beautiful bright light green color with a little bit of yellow in it that is perfect in the Spring. I like to wear this all over the lid with a light brown in the crease & a shimmery white color in the inner corner. I highly recommend that you pick this one up if you are a green eyeshadow lover like I am.

2: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Brulee
I think that at this point everyone knows about this shadow. It's a little bit difficult to see in the swatch because it is so close to my skin color. Yeah, I'm pale. It's great as an under the brow highlight & all over the lid or if you have a darker skin color I think that it would be pretty as an inner corner highlight.

3: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Envy
This is a beautiful mossy green color. It's gorgeous used in a smokey look or as liner. My favorite way to wear it is to line my eyes with a green pencil liner then set it with this shadow.

4: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Nutty
Don't worry this is the last Wet N Wild one. It is a taupey brown which is a great everyday color. It's also makes a great one shadow look when you place it all over the lid & then build it up a little more in the crease. You just can't go wrong with this one.

5: NYX Single eyeshadow in Cherry
This is a great red with a bit of pink in it. I love it so much. I don't have anything else like it in my collection. It has what I would call a satin finish. It isn't matte but it isn't very shimmery either so it look good on the lid or the crease. You could also use this as a one shadow look by putting it lightly on the lid which gives it more of a pink then adding more in the crease to give it more of that red look. It's great & if you are more daring with your shadow then I highly recommend pick this baby up.

6: ELF Studio Line Single Baked Eyeshadow in Moonlight Serenade
This is a white shadow with a gold shift that is stunning in person. Since this is a baked shadow I have swatched it dry (left) & wet (right). When applied dry more of the white shows up & then when you apply it wet more of the gold shows through. This is my favorite inner corner highlight. This color can work for any skintone so the next time you place an order with ELF pick this up!

7: L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Glistening Garnet
This is a great berry color. It is another one of those colors that isn't for the faint of heart but it is SO beautiful. One of my favorite ways to wear this one is to put a color like Wet N Wild's Brulee all over the lid then use this in the crease & make a "cut crease" look. So beautiful.

8: L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte
This is a classic champagne color. I have several other shades that compare to this in shade but not in texture which is why I picked this one over those others. It is just so smooth & gives a great shine on the lids that really brightens the eyes. It's great as a lid color & a inner corner highlight. I've heard from several other people that this is a dupe for Stilla's Kitten. I don't have that color so I can't personally testify to that but just something to keep in mind. You can see me use this in a FOTD here.

9: L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine
This is a great gold color that I think can work well for any skintone. This is a great summer shade. I personally don't have any other golds in my collection that are quite like this one. It's a bright gold that to me makes it a bit unique for the drugstore.

10: Mark i-mark Wet/Dry Eyeshadow in Luv Struck
This is a great bright pink shadow. I have swatched it dry (left) & wet (right) since it is advertised as a wwet/dry shadow even though it isn't baked. When applied wet it has more of a metallic finish which is really pretty. If you tried these Mark shadows back in the day & didn't care for them then I say try it again. They have recently reformulated them & they are VERY improved.

Honorable mention: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Kitten
This reason that this shadow is an honorable mention & not in the top 10 is that it was recently discontinued! I wanted to cry when Wet N Wild got rid of this gem because it is one of my favorites all around. This is actually my second one. I had to repurchase because I used my other one completely up. It's a great light purple shade which is again perfect for Spring. It's a great lid color. I think that this is a good color for someone who usually only wears neutrals to break into more colorful shadows with since it is a light purple. I'm super sad that they took this away but I wanted to mention it because I have seen a few still lingering in some of my local drugstores.

Well, that's all my favorites. I hope that this was helpful. What are some of your favorite single eyeshadows?

Until next time...
