My Top 15 Face & Eye Products For Spring!

Hello lovelies!
Spring is here & I couldn't be more excited. I'm so over the cold weather. Plus, I love Spring time colors. Today's post will be about face & eye products only because if I included lip products too this would be the longest post ever. Tomorrow I will have a separate post about my favorite Spring lip products. So, let's get started.

1) L'OREAL Revitalift Miracle Blur
This products is great because it really does blur lines & pores (for me at least). Plus, it has an SPF of 30 which is nice for if you're going to be outside.

2) mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes

I really love this little palette. You can use it all over the face. It makes a great highlighter. They also make a nice base for eyeshadows. You can even use them alone on the lids. If you have oily lids they might crease though. It is a bit pricey ($16.00) but I have had mine for almost 2 years now & it still hasn't dried out.

3) NYX Love in Paris Palette in Let Them Eat Cake

This is such a cute little palette. I love it. The colors are perfect for Spring. You could get a nice light natural look all the way to something a bit more smokey with the darker colors. The coral color in the middle is probably my favorite. So pretty.

4) Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
This is one of my favorite foundations. It's great for Spring because it is light weight & has a natural finish on the skin. It also has an SPF of 20 which is always nice.

5) Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded

I don't think that it's any secret that I love the color tattoos. This one to me is a perfect lid color for Spring. It's a light champagne shade which is of course nice for any time of year but especially for Spring.

6) L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Always Pearly Pink

This is one of their new shades & it is quickly becoming one of my favorite shadows. It's really pretty all over the lid & in the inner corner. It also look really nice over the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded above.

7) Wet N Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow

I love highlighters. They are one of my favorite makeup items. They are especially nice for a Spring look. This one is really pretty & affordable. If you apply it with a stipple or fan brush it gives a nice light glow & can also be built up for a stronger highlight for a night out.

8) Jordana 12 HR Made To Last Eyeshadow Pencil in Continuous Almond
Matte nude eyes seem to be in for Spring this year & this is a great option for that type of look. It can be worn alone without creasing or under a powder eyeshadow.

9) Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks in Lime

This is a great light green shadow. It's very Spring time appropriate to me. This is a nice option for someone who wants to get into wearing more colorful shadows because it is a light green & not to out there. I did review these a little while back that you can check out here

10) Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Collection in Petal Pusher

Pinks & purples are also nice for Spring. This palette is a perfect combination of the two. These shadows are super pigmented, easy to apply, & blend. My two favorites from this palette are the top right & second one down on the left.

11) Benefit Boxed Blush in Dandelion (Sample Size)

This is a nice subtle blush for fair to light medium skintones. It is very natural looking. This also makes a great natural looking eyeshadow. Plus, it smells nice.

12) ELF Studio Blush in Candid Coral (Depotted)
Corals are very in for Spring every year & this blush is a nice inexpensive option. It has a subtle glow to it & looks good on every skin tone.

13) Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Natural (Depotted)
This is one of my favorite blushes. It is a very natural looking pink color. It has a bit of shimmer but nothing too crazy. This one smells nice as well.

14) Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liner in Emerald Glisten
The color name on this is perfect. It is an emerald liner with emerald shimmer in it. This would be great to used with a nice nude eyeshadow then wing this out. It has a nice wear time a a nice easy to use felt tip applicator.

15) Jordana Easyliner Retractable Liner in Mint
To me this is more of a aqua than a mint color. Either way it is really pretty & has nice wear time. My favorite way to wear this is smudged out on the upper lash line. I have somewhat watery eyes so it doesn't last long on my waterline but you might have better luck.

That's for today. I hope that this was helpful. What are some of your favorites for Spring?

Until next time...

February Besties.

Hello lovelies.
Today I have my February Besties to share with you.

-L'OREAL Revitalift Miracle Blur-
I have been loving this as my primer. It really does "blur" some pores & fine lines. Plus, it has 30 SPF. It also makes my skin super soft.

-Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Waterproof-
This stuff makes my lashes look like BAM. It has a rubber bristle wand which I'm usually not a fan of but I just love this mascara. It might even be my new holy grail but it's too soon to start that type of talk.

-Revlon ColorStay Under Eye Concealer in Fair-
This is actually my 3rd tube of this stuff. Now, if you have some serious dark circles then this won't help much but if they aren't too intense then this stuff with do the job. It blends like a dream & has SPF 15.

 -LypSyl Lipbalm-
This stuff is AMAZING. This makes my lips so soft & smooth. It has a nice minty scent but it doesn't tingle on the lips like most other lip balms that have a minty scent, in my experience at least. The best part is I feel like it actual moisturizes my lips & doesn't just sit on top of my lips like a lot of other balms. Bottom line, do yourself a favor & buy this. You can thank me later.

-Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Nude Lust-
I'm normally not into nude lipsticks because I just feel like none of them have ever looked right on me until now. I can't remember the last time that I fell in love with a lipstick so quickly. This has been pretty much the only one that I have been wearing since I bought it. You can check out when I hauled it here.

-Wet N Wild Beauty Benefits Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette in Sand Castle-
You can check out my original review of this palette here. I really liked this when I first got this but I wouldn't have called it a favorite but that changed. I really love it now. The shadows are smooth & pigmented. It's a perfect everyday quad. My favorite shade from this is probably the highlight shade. It just looks so pretty in the inner corners of the eye. You can see where I used this in a FOTD here.

-Sally Girl Eyeshadow in Cupid (limited edition)-
When I have been wanting a pop of color on my lids this is the shadow that I have been reaching for & I really like. It was limited edition unfortunately. It was part of the four that they put out for Valentine's Day. I did a review of them here. Once you get through the over spray this is basically matte. It is a bit powdery but I like the color itself enough that I'm willing to work through that.

-Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal liner in Nude-
I love a nude liner on my lower waterline & this has been the one that I have been using lately. I also really love to use this on my upper lash line & then top it off with a colorful eyeshadow. This isn't waterproof like it claims but it does last a good little while on my somewhat watery waterline.

-ELF Kabuki Face Brush-
I usually use a traditional powder brush but lately I've been using this kabuki brush & I really like. It's super soft, well made, & it was inexpensive. You can buy it at Target or on the ELF website here

-Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion-
This scent has a cult following along with Bath & Body Works fans. This is the first time I have ever tried it though. I have to say, I see why so many people like it. It has a nice, soft, relaxing scent. I like to put it on before bed. Once I finish this little bottle I plan on buying one of the big ones.

Well guys, that's all my besties for this month. What were some of yours this month?

Until next time...

My Top 10 Single Eyeshadows

Hello to all my lovely readers,
Today I would like to share with you my top 10 single eyeshadows.
So, let's get right into it.

1: Hard Candy Single & Loving it in Unattached
This is a beautiful bright light green color with a little bit of yellow in it that is perfect in the Spring. I like to wear this all over the lid with a light brown in the crease & a shimmery white color in the inner corner. I highly recommend that you pick this one up if you are a green eyeshadow lover like I am.

2: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Brulee
I think that at this point everyone knows about this shadow. It's a little bit difficult to see in the swatch because it is so close to my skin color. Yeah, I'm pale. It's great as an under the brow highlight & all over the lid or if you have a darker skin color I think that it would be pretty as an inner corner highlight.

3: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Envy
This is a beautiful mossy green color. It's gorgeous used in a smokey look or as liner. My favorite way to wear it is to line my eyes with a green pencil liner then set it with this shadow.

4: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Nutty
Don't worry this is the last Wet N Wild one. It is a taupey brown which is a great everyday color. It's also makes a great one shadow look when you place it all over the lid & then build it up a little more in the crease. You just can't go wrong with this one.

5: NYX Single eyeshadow in Cherry
This is a great red with a bit of pink in it. I love it so much. I don't have anything else like it in my collection. It has what I would call a satin finish. It isn't matte but it isn't very shimmery either so it look good on the lid or the crease. You could also use this as a one shadow look by putting it lightly on the lid which gives it more of a pink then adding more in the crease to give it more of that red look. It's great & if you are more daring with your shadow then I highly recommend pick this baby up.

6: ELF Studio Line Single Baked Eyeshadow in Moonlight Serenade
This is a white shadow with a gold shift that is stunning in person. Since this is a baked shadow I have swatched it dry (left) & wet (right). When applied dry more of the white shows up & then when you apply it wet more of the gold shows through. This is my favorite inner corner highlight. This color can work for any skintone so the next time you place an order with ELF pick this up!

7: L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Glistening Garnet
This is a great berry color. It is another one of those colors that isn't for the faint of heart but it is SO beautiful. One of my favorite ways to wear this one is to put a color like Wet N Wild's Brulee all over the lid then use this in the crease & make a "cut crease" look. So beautiful.

8: L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte
This is a classic champagne color. I have several other shades that compare to this in shade but not in texture which is why I picked this one over those others. It is just so smooth & gives a great shine on the lids that really brightens the eyes. It's great as a lid color & a inner corner highlight. I've heard from several other people that this is a dupe for Stilla's Kitten. I don't have that color so I can't personally testify to that but just something to keep in mind. You can see me use this in a FOTD here.

9: L'OREAL Infallible Eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine
This is a great gold color that I think can work well for any skintone. This is a great summer shade. I personally don't have any other golds in my collection that are quite like this one. It's a bright gold that to me makes it a bit unique for the drugstore.

10: Mark i-mark Wet/Dry Eyeshadow in Luv Struck
This is a great bright pink shadow. I have swatched it dry (left) & wet (right) since it is advertised as a wwet/dry shadow even though it isn't baked. When applied wet it has more of a metallic finish which is really pretty. If you tried these Mark shadows back in the day & didn't care for them then I say try it again. They have recently reformulated them & they are VERY improved.

Honorable mention: Wet N Wild Coloricon Single in Kitten
This reason that this shadow is an honorable mention & not in the top 10 is that it was recently discontinued! I wanted to cry when Wet N Wild got rid of this gem because it is one of my favorites all around. This is actually my second one. I had to repurchase because I used my other one completely up. It's a great light purple shade which is again perfect for Spring. It's a great lid color. I think that this is a good color for someone who usually only wears neutrals to break into more colorful shadows with since it is a light purple. I'm super sad that they took this away but I wanted to mention it because I have seen a few still lingering in some of my local drugstores.

Well, that's all my favorites. I hope that this was helpful. What are some of your favorite single eyeshadows?

Until next time...

First Haul of 2014! (Sephora, Walgreens, The Dollar Store & Rite Aid)

Hello lovelies,
Today I have for you a collective haul from Sephora, Walgreens, The Dollar Store & Rite Aid. So, let's get into it.

From Sephora:
They were having a special & an 20% off of their sale items so I picked up the Sephora + Pantone Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette & the Sephora + Pantone Colorbyte Lip Wands. The eye shadow palette is amazing. I am so in love with it. Plus, it's only $25.00 now. If you're interested in it you can find it here. The Lipglosses are beautiful but are difficult to squeeze out of the tube. They are on sale for $15.00. If you're interested in them you can find them here.

From Walgreens:
-Red velvety makeup bag from Modella on sale for $5.00
-Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation for about $4.00 with coupon
-Wet N Wild Coloricon 5-Pan Palettes in Floral Values & The Naked Truth for about $2.99 each with coupons
-Wet N Wild Coloricon 8-Pan in Poster Child for about $3.99 with coupon
I have yet to use any of this so I can't give you my thoughts.

From The Dollar Store:
-Wet N Wild's Beauty Benefits Ultimate Cover Foundation for $1.00
I have only used this once but I wasn't impressed. It has barely there coverage. I mean, it was only $1.00 so I didn't expect a miracle product but even still I was let down.

From Rite Aid:
-L'OREAL Single eye shadows in Golden Sunset & Satin Tutu for $2.99 on sale
-Covergirl eye shadow quad in Country Woods for about $4.00
I have used both L'OREAL shadows & I do like them but they aren't the most pigmented shadows out there. I have yet to use the Covergirl quad.

Well guys, that's all. I'm waiting for an order from BH Cosmetics so be on the look out for that.

Until next time...

Wet N Wild's Eyeshadow Palette in No Neutral Ground Review

Hello lovelies!
Today I want to share with you my thoughts on Wet N Wild's No Neutral Ground eyeshadow palette. This is part of their limited edition collection for the holidays. There are two other palettes but they honestly didn't catch my eye the way that this one did so I only pick up this one.

Let's take a closer look at the palette:

The top three shades are ultra shimmery, the middle three are more of a satin finish, & the bottom two are mattes. These were all swatched with NO primer & as you can see they are very nicely pigmented. That's no surprise at this point though. I think everyone who loves makeup knows how awesome Wet N Wild's eyeshadows are. I'm really happy with this palette & would recommend it.

Until next time...
